Welcome to Fig and Twigs! I’m Janice Morrow, a creative designer with an emphasis on whimsy and color, living in Newport Beach, California with my husband, Bill, and white lab, Daisy Rhubarb.
Floral design is my passion, but I also enjoy designing furniture, creating handmade letterpress stationary and baking amazing desserts! I’ve been featured in French Style and Romantic Homes magazines, such a fun experience!
When I am not creating floral arrangements for clients or working on my latest design project, you will find me at my home sweet home cooking, gardening, filling our home with fresh flowers and spending time with the most important people in my life…my family…I adore being a wife, mom to four adult kids and a gramsie!
- I owned a culinary school for ten years and spent several years on the Fine Living channel with my cooking segments.
- Every week you can find me at the Flower Market. When I walk into the huge warehouses filled with fresh flowers… I feel at home and simply happy!
- I am known for stopping along the side of the road to pick up abandoned twigs and tree branches…I also occasionally grab them out of trash cans! Oh the stories my kids could tell! I have oftentimes been “that embarrassing mom with a car filled with garden clippings”!
- I am a proud UC Berkeley grad, love wearing anything plaid, cowboy boots in the winter and Jack Rodgers sandals in the summer!
- I love to travel but the destination must have fun funky thrift shops, a flower market and really good coffee!
